Sales Representative - territory development (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Thistle Insurance is an insurance company in Hartford with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on territory development. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Explain our services around underwriting files clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
