Sales Representative - territory development (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Grand Rapids, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our territory development. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around meter readings clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling meter readings. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
