Sales Representative - territory development (Columbus, OH)

Summit Cross Foods produces packaged foods at its Columbus plant. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on territory development. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around production batches clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
