Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (St. Louis, MO)

Fernwood Umber Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around St. Louis, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our renewals and upsell. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Explain our services around proof of delivery clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
