Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Stone Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Jose, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our renewals and upsell. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Explain our services around claims clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
