Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Quarry Freight Group is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on renewals and upsell for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Explain our services around carrier rates clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling carrier rates. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
