Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Providence, RI)

Cedar Sparrow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Providence. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on renewals and upsell. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Providence. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Explain our services around dock schedules clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling dock schedules. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
