Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Forge Energy is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on renewals and upsell for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around meter readings clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
