Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen Timber Insurance is an insurance company in New Orleans with claims and service teams, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our renewals and upsell. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around catastrophe response clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling catastrophe response. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
