Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Indianapolis, IN)

Summit Birch Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Indianapolis, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our renewals and upsell. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around outage response clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling outage response. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
