Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Detroit, MI)

Northwind West Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Detroit region, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our renewals and upsell. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around outage response clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling outage response. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
