Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Des Moines, IA)

Silverline Maple Manufacturing is a Des Moines manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on renewals and upsell. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around machine downtime clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling machine downtime. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
