Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark Clear Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Chicago. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on renewals and upsell. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around carrier rates clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
