Sales Representative - renewals and upsell (Boston, MA)

Fernwood Union Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Boston. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on renewals and upsell. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around group events clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling group events. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
