Sales Representative - local business accounts (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Corner Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around customer complaints clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
