Sales Representative - local business accounts (San Jose, CA)

Foxglove Rowan Foods is a San Jose food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Explain our services around allergen controls clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
