Sales Representative - local business accounts (San Jose, CA)

Northwind Cross Foods is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on local business accounts for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 471 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around customer specifications clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling customer specifications. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
