Sales Representative - local business accounts (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Rook Insurance and adding a Sales Representative whose main responsibility will be local business accounts. You would join a small organisation of about 66 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around catastrophe response clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
