Sales Representative - local business accounts (remote)

Lumen Meadow Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Hartford. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Explain our services around catastrophe response clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
