Sales Representative - local business accounts (remote)

Amberfield Birch Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Knoxville. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around customer tracking clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
