Sales Representative - local business accounts (remote)

Northwind Granite Manufacturing is a Sacramento manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. You would join a large organisation of about 397 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around machine downtime clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling machine downtime. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
