Sales Representative - local business accounts (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Northwind West Freight and adding a Sales Representative whose main responsibility will be local business accounts. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around proof of delivery clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling proof of delivery. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
