Sales Representative - local business accounts (New Orleans, LA)

Ironwood Linden Foods is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on local business accounts for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around cold storage clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling cold storage. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
