Sales Representative - local business accounts (Madison, WI)

Nova Umber Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Madison, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our local business accounts. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around packing house output clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
