Sales Representative - local business accounts (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Indianapolis. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around underwriting files clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
