Sales Representative - local business accounts (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Timber Markets and adding a Sales Representative whose main responsibility will be local business accounts. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Explain our services around promotions clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling promotions. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
