Sales Representative - local business accounts (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Meridian Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Hartford. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around ingredient orders clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
