Sales Representative - local business accounts (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Wren Freight Group and adding a Sales Representative whose main responsibility will be local business accounts. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around customer tracking clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
