Sales Representative - local business accounts (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Bridge Farms is an agricultural business based around Des Moines. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. You would join a large organisation of about 315 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Explain our services around field records clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling field records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
