Sales Representative - local business accounts (Chicago, IL)

Fernwood Bridge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Chicago region, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our local business accounts. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Explain our services around cold storage clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
