Sales Representative - local business accounts (Charlotte, NC)

Silverline Mill Freight Group is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on local business accounts for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around dock schedules clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
