Sales Representative - local business accounts (Charleston, SC)

Rivermark West Freight is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on local business accounts for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around proof of delivery clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling proof of delivery. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
