Sales Representative - local business accounts (Buffalo, NY)

Bluepeak Mill Freight is a Buffalo logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our local business accounts. You would join a large organisation of about 386 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around loads and lanes clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
