Sales Representative - local business accounts (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight River Staffing is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on local business accounts for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around candidate screening clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling candidate screening. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
