Sales Representative - local business accounts (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Oak Foods is a Birmingham food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on local business accounts. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around cold storage clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling cold storage. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
