Sales Representative - industrial components (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Cobalt Manufacturing machines and distributes precision parts for manufacturers around Connecticut. We are hiring a contract sales representative to bring on new accounts with small and mid-sized shops. The work • Contact and visit machine shops and fabricators that buy parts from competitors. • Prepare quotes with our estimator and follow up until the customer decides. • Report weekly on pipeline and win rates. Who does well here • Two years in industrial, B2B or distribution sales. • Ability to read a drawing well enough to ask sensible questions. The contract is for a year, remote-friendly with regular customer visits across the Hartford area. Commission is paid on top of a base rate.
