Sales Representative - inbound leads (Rochester, NY)

Lumen Stone Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Rochester, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our inbound leads. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around loads and lanes clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling loads and lanes. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
