Sales Representative - inbound leads (remote)

Cedar Sparrow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Baltimore, and we need a Sales Representative to lead our inbound leads. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Explain our services around dock schedules clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
