Sales Representative - inbound leads (Philadelphia, PA)

Summit Umber Freight is a Philadelphia logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on inbound leads. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Explain our services around carrier rates clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling carrier rates. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
