Sales Representative - inbound leads (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen Quarry Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near New Orleans. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on inbound leads. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around grower contracts clearly and honestly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. What we are looking for • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. Nice to have • Experience selling grower contracts. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
