Sales Representative - inbound leads (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Orchard Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Hartford. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on inbound leads. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain our services around weigh tickets clearly and honestly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • Experience selling weigh tickets. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
