Sales Representative - inbound leads (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Lantern Insurance is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on inbound leads for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around underwriting files clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
