Sales Representative - inbound leads (Des Moines, IA)

Rivermark Meridian Foods is a Des Moines food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on inbound leads. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Explain our services around customer specifications clearly and honestly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • Experience selling customer specifications. • An existing network in the region. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
