Sales Representative - inbound leads (Chicago, IL)

Fernwood Basin Arts Center is looking for a Sales Representative. The job centres on inbound leads for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around volunteer programmes clearly and honestly. • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
