Sales Representative - inbound leads (Charlotte, NC)

Ironwood Cedar Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Charlotte. We are hiring a Sales Representative to take on inbound leads. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and contact prospects and set up meetings. • Prepare quotes and follow up until the customer decides. • Explain our services around production batches clearly and honestly. • Keep the CRM accurate and report on the pipeline weekly. • Work with operations so promises made in the sale can be kept. What we are looking for • Honest, persistent and good at listening. • Two or more years in business-to-business or consultative sales. • Comfort travelling locally to meet customers. Nice to have • An existing network in the region. • Experience selling production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
