Safety and HR Coordinator - site staffing (Wichita, KS)

Lumen Iron Construction is a small construction firm in Wichita that builds warehouses and light-industrial sites. As we have grown past 30 people, HR has been handled by whoever had time. We are looking for a contract safety and HR coordinator who can set up the basics properly. What you will do • Build our onboarding checklist, including safety orientation and certification tracking. • Keep incident reports organised and follow up on corrective actions. • Advise site managers on scheduling, leave and hiring questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years in HR, safety or site administration. • Working knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping. The role is contract for about eight months, remote-friendly, with regular site visits around Wichita.
