Registered Nurse - patient education (Wichita, KS)

Summit Yarrow Health runs clinics and patient services around Wichita, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on electronic records with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
