Registered Nurse - patient education (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield North Medical Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 420 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on complaint handling with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
