Registered Nurse - patient education (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Amber Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on device records with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
