Registered Nurse - patient education (Toledo, OH)

Foxglove Amber Medical is a Toledo company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 471 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on device records with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
